Heart Foundation Walking Groups

Walking isn’t just great for your body; it’s also a fantastic way to clear your mind and reduce stress. Whether you're looking to improve cardiovascular health, boost your mood, or simply get some fresh air, walking is a low-impact exercise that anyone can enjoy.

St Peters Probus Club - meets monthly

St Peters Probus Club meets in the St Peters Youth Centre, Cornish St Stepney (part of Linde Reserve) between 10am and 12 noon on the second Friday of every month from February to November inclusive.
Each month there is a general meeting for 30 minutes then a break for morning tea before being entertained by a guest speaker.
Our members also enjoy additional activities and outings throughout the year. In December there is a Christmas lunch rather than a meeting.
Memberships are available and visitors are welcome.

Churchill Fellowship applications now open

A Churchill Fellowship is a unique opportunity to travel internationally, investigate global best practice in an industry/sector and apply it on return.
Any Australian citizen or permanent resident is eligible for a Fellowship – there is no education qualification required, and any idea or industry will be considered.

IAF Literary Dinner - Tuesday 15 April 2025

IAF Literary Dinner at Osmond Terrace Function Centre on Tuesday 15 April from 6:30 to 9:00 pm
Independent Arts Foundation Literary Dinner with Prof Enrico Mercuri as guest speaker to talk about his translation of Dante's Inferno, a Wakefield Press publication.
The function will be held on Tuesday, 15 April 2025 from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Osmond Terrace Function Centre.
Price is $40 (IAF members) and $45 (non-members), which includes a choice of main course, the guest speaker talk and a quiz prepared by Wakefield Press.

Payneham Probus Club - Friendship, fellowship and fun. Monthly meetings in a relaxed environment

We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
Our general meeting runs from 10.00am to 10.30am. We then have a break for refreshments from 10:30am until 11:00am.
A Guest Speaker or entertainment follows - 11:00am until 11:50am, then Q&A if needed.
The meeting concludes at 12.00 noon.
Members can then choose to meet for lunch at a local hotel.
