Community Transport Driver

We are looking for volunteer Community Transport Drivers to join our dedicated Community Transport Service team.
The Council’s Community Transport Service provides transport for shopping and social support programs to the aged, younger disabled and socially isolated people in the community.
If you like a chat and engaging with people in the community, this could be a great role for you!
The role requires a fortnightly commitment on either a Wednesday or a Thursday from 8:50am to 11:30am.
To apply for this role you will need:
- Full car licence (bus licence not required) to drive a small 12 seater mini bus (manual gear shift) thorough knowledge and understanding of Australian road rules and regulations
- good customer service skills
- ability to deal with passengers in a sensitive manner
- ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
