Portrush and Magill Roads intersection upgrade

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport has advised Council that it is upgrading the intersection of Portrush and Magill roads.

While the majority of works are being undertaken during the day, night works are being undertaken to minimise the impact to road users and to ensure the works can be completed safely and efficiently.

Night works to place new asphalt and install new underground stormwater infrastructure, SA Water sewer and water mains, and traffic signal conduits are being undertaken at various locations on Magill Road west of the intersection, and Portrush Road north and south of the intersection.

Night works will continue through to late September 2021, weather permitting.

Hours of work will be between 7pm and 6am, from Sunday to Thursday. No works will be undertaken on Friday and Saturday nights.
